BHCEC Sponsored Community Cleanup
The cleanup effort was publicized in an article in the Maryland Gazette.
The Black Hole Creek Environmental Conservancy sponsored a cleanup of dumped trash in the Magothy Greenway natural area on December 9, 2006. This parkland is part of the Magothy River Land Trust and is managed through the Anne Arundel County Parks and Trails Program. The property is adjacent to Bleck Hole Creek Bog and is critical to the health of the creek. Several dozen volunteers participated, some of whom are shown in this picture along with the two Anne Arundel County park rangers who supervised the cleanup.
